What is the Premier League Stadium Fund?

The Premier League Stadium Fund was launched in March 2022, as the new brand name for the Football Stadia Improvement Fund Limited (Company Register No: 04007132).  

The Premier League Stadium Fund is a company limited by guarantee and was incorporated in May 2000.  

The members of the company are the Football Association and the Premier League. 

Its principal activity is to act as an agent for the Premier League in passing on funding for activities relating to the safety and comfort of spectators at, and the redevelopment of, football stadia. 

It does this by offering grants via its Stadium Fund, Fans Fund and the Club Development Fund. 

How much funding does it distribute?

Funding totalling £16 million is being made available to the Football Stadia Improvement Fund Limited to support clubs in the National League System and Women’s Football Pyramid between now and the end of the 2022/23 season. This is more than double the existing annual investment provided by the Premier League to support ground improvements throughout the pyramid.
